Memories : Older Buildings and Other Structures-We build buildings, bridges, boats and other structures for our work, play and homes. I have always found these inviting places to look at and try to guess their stories. This is a group of images pulled from many outings across the country. Visually I am attracted to the planes and shapes as well as the atmosphere of the places. I opted to show these in black and white because for some things color detracts from what the visual meanings of the images represent for me. The new first page includes pictures of abandoned farms in the Upstate of South Carolina. Some of the buildings date back to the 1800's. The ghosts are abundant.
